Stag and Doe

Saturday Night Out

This night we had Kathy and Ed join us for a stag and doe for Tim's cousin, so we met at our house, as i had a bottle of wine chilling for Kathy( you know the non Ontario kind)

we had a few drinks here, then proceeded over to the stag, when we arrived all the tables were taken , so the last remaining table was the one closest to the door, where it was freezing, due to the entrance door being opened and closed, so of course we sat most of the night with our coats on.

Kathy and i did have a few dances, as we had requested a few songs that we would enjoy, i had given Tim the camera to take a few pics, well...i am not sure what i was thinking , giving him the camera , but...as you can see , his photography skills are not up to par, then of course neither is Kathy's as she too took a few pics, oh good grief!!...where the heck was Shan!!...ad least she can take a friggen picture!!....lol

The music wasn't the greatest for us older folks, as we don't seem to appreciate the new hip hop!....so we had a few laughs at the expense of the dj, with his outdated hair do and flashy vest, so we were having bets on how old he might be,..Ed wanted me to go and ask him ,...but of course i did not drink enough for that, but decided to find someone who would, so off i go,......Terry ( Tim's dad),..of course was happy to oblige,....we giggle as we watch Terry speaking with him, he returns to our table to say "HE IS GOING TO BE 50 THIS YEAR"...so we discuss who are right and who was not of course, Tim of course thinks its the funniest thing , his Dad went up and asked him!

so , now its time for the door prizes to be drawn, we all pull out our tickets and wait and wait, and nothing!!...finally,....once there are only 2 prizes let and 1 GRAND prize left to be drawn, we win something, Tim heads up and to my surprise, returns with what other then A TOOL!...some kind of bit set.

as you can now be thinking, yeah!...i was no thrilled....lol...big deal!!...

now its was time for the grand prize of the 7 piece cordless dewalt tool set ( approx value $1000-$1400)

the Dj of course is making an announcement of what it actually contains, Yadda Yadda!!....GET ON WITH IT, we are all thinking!!

last 3 digits 875, well after a few seconds of delay, we realize that, ITS OUR TICKET!

Tim jumps up and runs to the front, in disbelief of course, as we don't normally win anything.

Every one was happy for Tim, as most people know , this is something that is required for Tim's job,..TOOLS!!!

so, of course it was a fantastic evening for us,....(well Tim mostly)

my enjoyment of course is Kathy and how much she entertains us all with her antics, ~~~thanks guys for joining us~~~
